The 65th Annual GRAMMY Awards were last night, and Country Music was there to show out! New father Luke Combs made his performance debut on the show, singing his latest single, “Going, Going, Gone.” Chris Stapleton brought the house down when he joined Stevie Wonder to perform his hit, “Higher Ground.” While their award was given out during the pre-ceremony and not televised, Carly Pearce and Ashley McBryde kept their hot streak going with wins for their collab, “Never Wanted To Be That Girl.” It had already won at the ACM Awards and CMA Awards, and then last night the song earned its triple crown with a win for Best Country Duo/Group Performance at the GRAMMYs. Willie Nelson couldn’t make it to the show, but he did pick up two new awards for Best Country Performance and Best Country Album, bringing his GRAMMY tally up to an astounding total of 12. Taylor Swift, who brought her GRAMMYs total up to 12 and was also nominated alongside Chris Stapleton for Best Country Duo/Group Performance, was living her best life last night and hanging out with all of the stars – Shania Twain, Bonnie Raitt, Bad Bunny, Beyonce, Harry Styles, and more. All in all, the GRAMMYs were quite the star-studded affair, and Country Music was very well represented at the show this year.
