WATCH: A Boy with a Terminal Disease Became a Police Chief for a Day!

9-year-old Ben Anderson was diagnosed with Adrenoleukodystrophy. Obviously, something a 9-year-old should never have to deal with. Ben’s dream has always been to be a police officer so his community made that happen and then some! For one day Ben took his role as Police Chief seriously on the streets and even put a few people behind bars.

 

Zach Steele wanted to ask his girlfriend of eight years, Maddison to marry him. After eight years though, Zach knew it needed to be a pretty elaborate proposal. Zach hid remote-operated smoke machines in their attic and set them off when Maddison was home alone. Of course, Maddison went into a panic and called for help.

When the fire truck arrived, Maddison was relieved to see Zach jump out. But of course, Zach wasn’t really there to put out a fire.

Over the holidays, 8-year-old Perryn Miller was diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer. The diagnosis was scary enough, but it happened when they were visiting family in Utah – 2,300 miles from home. So Perryn and his family were trying to process surgery, and his new normal without all the comforts of home. A complete stranger and former truck driver, Bob Reynolds caught wind of the situation the Miller family was in and decided that Perryn needed his 8-month-old German shepherd, Frank. Bob drove the entire way so Perryn could have his dog by his side during this scary time.

 

A police officer rescued a tiny kitten stranded on the road and found it a forever home.

Officer Jason Smith was patrolling the Interstate when he noticed a tiny little kitten struggling on the concrete median. Jason pulled over and went to help the little kitty.

Once inside his patrol car, the kitten was exploring and accidentally set off Jason’s siren. He took the little guy to a shelter but after going home and telling his family about the cat they went back to take the kitty home!
