A man is alive today thanks to college student training to be a paramedic, all because he stopped for a cup of coffee before his internship interview!
Will Stewart was probably a ball of nerves in this coffee shop as it was, drinking his coffee, thinking about what his interviewer might ask him, minding his own business when he noticed a man in the background coughing.
So Will took all his paramedic training that he had learned in school and gave the guy the Heimlich maneuver and saved his life!
When Will went to his interview, he never brought up what had just happened because he wanted to be judged on his own merit! And yes, Will got the job!
